Upcoming Open Sky Classroom Excursion
Pench Tiger Reserve, MP
Exclusive for children age 8-14 years
Located in the heart of central India, Pench Tiger Reserve is a landscape of open teak forests, rolling grasslands, seasonal streams, and rich wildlife corridors. This forest is often described as one of India’s most balanced ecosystems—where visibility is high, animal movement is easier to read, and the rhythm of the forest feels clear and deliberate. It is also the land that inspired The Jungle Book, but Pench is far more than a storybook setting.
Here, children encounter forests as functioning systems—where predators, prey, birds, insects, grasses, and people are all connected. Tracks on dusty paths, alarm calls from birds, and changing forest sounds become clues waiting to be interpreted. Pench offers young explorers a rare opportunity to learn how to look closely, think patiently, and understand wildlife without disturbance. This excursion invites children into a forest that teaches quietly—through movement, silence, and presence—leaving them with a deeper, grounded relationship with the wild.
