Upcoming Open Sky Classroom Excursion

Kali Tiger Reserve, Dandeli
Exclusive for children age 8-14 years

Tucked away in the lush forests of Uttara Kannada, Kali Tiger Reserve is one of Karnataka’s most alive and layered forest landscapes. This is a place where dense evergreen and moist deciduous forests meet winding rivers, rocky outcrops, and deep valleys—creating habitats that support remarkable wildlife diversity. Tigers, leopards, gaur, hornbills, kingfishers, reptiles, insects, and countless smaller forest dwellers all share this space, often hidden in plain sight.

Named after the Kali River that flows through it, the reserve is not just about spotting animals—it’s about learning how forests function as living systems. Every sound, track, call, and movement tells a story of survival, balance, and coexistence.

For children, Kali offers something rare: a chance to slow down, observe carefully, and understand forests beyond pictures and textbooks. This excursion invites young explorers into a real forest classroom—raw, dynamic, and deeply grounding—where learning happens simply by being present.
